How was your holidays?

My holidays were great!

My family and I celebrate Kwanzaa!

According to The Official Kwanzaa Website Kwanzaa is the celebration of family community and culture.

We really enjoyed it and the 7 principles taught and practiced for seven days.

My daughter loved the creativity, her favorite part was making the different African flags.

And we started the New Year off with Feast leftovers and gave some educational gifts, such as handmade books and cantaloupe plants.

The things is, now we will apply these principles to our daily lives because just once a year is simply not enough!
